Angélica Liddell Madrid

Angélica Liddell (°1966, Figueres, Girona) founded ATRA BILIS TEATRO in 1993. Her groundbreaking work has been staged worldwide and translated into multiple languages, including French, English, German, Japanese, and Italian. Her recent productions, including Dämon—which opened the Festival d’Avignon 2024—La casa de la fuerza, Liebestod, The Scarlet Letter, and Qué haré yo con esta espada, have been presented at major theatres across Europe, America, and Asia, receiving critical acclaim.

Liddell has been widely recognized with numerous awards:
