Kunstenfestivaldesarts reintroduces the Discovery Pass to guide you through the festival. Three Discovery Pass formulas that our team has carefully selected allow you to familiarise yourself with Kunstenfestivaldesarts’ many facets. Each formula gives you access to two performances, all highlights from our programme. These diverse performances offer you an unforgettable experience; a first taste of what the festival has to offer.

Discover a multi-faceted festival 

Are you passionate about dance? Discover Dance might be the perfect fit for you! Leu Wijee and Mio Ishida mesmerise you at Théâtre Les Tanneurs with RIDDEN: a hypnotic, rhythmic choreography in which they look at the impact of natural disasters on daily life. In La Raffinerie Bouchra Ouizguen and Dançando com a Diferença take centre stage: Este Mundo is a tranquil dance performance that pays tribute to the small moments that we share every day.

With Discover Theatre you embark on a voyage through the world of theatre. On the stage of the Beursschouwburg, artist collective Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol’s Centroamérica narrates the real-life journey of a Nicaraguan woman fleeing dictatorship. At KVS BOX, Chien-Han Hung, Wei-Yao Hung and Ray Tseng perform Family Triangle, an investigation in how tradition, gender expectations, and the law shape the desire to become a parent.

Discover Performance is for those who brave traditional genres. At KVS BOL, Germaine Kruip invites you on a visual and acoustic journey. Her A Possibility is a love letter to the theater. Those who love reality television can head to Zinnema. Here, MEXA stages Reality Show, a sharp and exuberant performance in which the Brazilian collective employs television tropes to depict their struggle for housing, visibility, and recognition.

In the mood for a party? Discovery Pass holders are welcome to attend Kunstenfestivaldesarts’ free Closing Party at Ancienne Belgique on 30 May from 10.30 pm.

How it works

The Discovery Pass is designed for those who are new to Kunstenfestivaldesarts. Before the start of our general ticket sales, we have reserved a selection of seats specifically for this pass to give those who are discovering the festival for the first time or those who feel unsure about their choices a chance to purchase tickets amidst the fast pace of our ticket sales. The Discovery Pass gives you access to two performances from our programme at a favorable price. The pass is name-specific and valid for one person at a time. You can also purchase multiple passes at once. For €30 you can get a Discovery Pass for any formula.

The Discovery Pass is on offer for a limited time only, from 20.04 to 05.05.2026.
