Etienne Guilloteau / Action Scénique Brussels
Etienne Guilloteau (°1976) was born in France, but he moved to Brussels in 1998 to study dance. In 2002 he graduated from P.A.R.T.S. with the solo performance Love me two times , which he performed at several European locations. In 2002 Guilloteau started a cooperation with Antwerp based wp Zimmer, which resulted in Skène (2004), a duet with Claire Croizé. Two years later, he created his second duet, La Magnificenza (2006), and in 2007, his video installation Dido became the second collaboration with Claire Croizé. Together with Croizé and Nadia Gambier, whom he had met at P.A.R.T.S., he founded Action Scénique , a frame and support structure for their collaborative work. During the past few years, Etienne Guilloteau has been focusing his choreographic work on the dramatic relations between dance, music and light. Recent results of his research were Prima dell’atto (2009) and DAAD (2009).
