Dançando com a Diferença Funchal
Dançando com a Diferença (DcD) is a Portuguese contemporary dance company, founded in Madeira in 2001 by Henrique Amoedo, recognized for artistic innovation, technical excellence, and the promotion of bodily diversity. Since its founding, DcD has highlighted the importance of the Non-Normative/Dissident Body on national and international stages. The company fosters artistic literacy, cultural inclusion, and the personal and professional development of its performers. DcD combines artistic creation, research, and educational action, developing structured projects with social and cultural impact in Portugal and abroad, aiming to strengthen social cohesion, intergenerational dialogue, and democratized access to art.
