Chien‑Han Hung Taipei

Chien-Han Hung is a Taipei-based theatre and performance maker, and co-leader of the artist collective Co-coism. She is currently an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Theatre at the National Taipei University of the Arts.
Her practice explores performance as a relational and perceptual apparatus, examining how multi-sensory experiences and spatial dramaturgy shape encounters between performers and audiences. Adopting questioning as a central method, her works address social, emotional, and ethical concerns across past, present, and speculative temporalities. She works across live exhibitions, lecture performances, participatory projects, and scenography, treating performance as a perceptual vehicle rather than a fixed narrative form.
Recent works include Family Triangle (Taipei Arts Festival) and the Sibling Trilogy: Family Romance, Grandmother Paradox (co-created with Wei-Yao/her brother), and Three Produce Everything (co-created with Wei-Yao and Ray Tseng). Ever Never won First Prize at the 2015 Wuzhen Theatre Festival and was later selected for the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
She is a resident artist at the Manchester International Festival (UK) in 2025 and participated in the 2024 residency exchange between the National Theater & Concert Hall (Taipei) and Teatre Lliure (Barcelona).
