We would like to warmly thank you for being part of this 31st edition of Kunstenfestivaldesarts. What a delight it has been to share so much dance, theatre, performance and visual arts with you the past few weeks.

This year, the festival revolved around the theme of malleability. Not as an escape, but as a method: as a way of perceiving, experiencing, and exploring how we can stand our ground in a world that keeps hurtling forward. We hope the festival served as an invitation to discover a multitude of new realities, beyond borders and boundaries, and to remain malleable and porous, open to what connects us.

Or, to put it in the words of Dionne Warwick, heard during Ewa Dziarnowska’s This resting, patience: “What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It’s the only thing there’s just too little of.”
