Merende

Théâtre Les Tanneurs

Accessible for wheelchair users | Free entrance

Merende—derived from the Italian word rooted in the Latin merĕnda, “things to be deserved”—is an open queer zone, a mythical party arriving for the first time in Brussels. Slip off your shoes, let your body loosen and dance without restraint in a space where movement brushes against manicures, tarot readings, political banners, and unexpected interventions. For the final Friday of the festival, Industria Indipendente offers an unmissable edition of Merende: an artistic party, integrating a special performance from Trajal Harrell. Come early, stay late!
