Le Rideau

Every Sunday afternoon during the festival, children age 4 and up can take part in creative workshops centred around a performance. These workshops are organised at the same time and location as the performance, making it possible for the whole family to come to the festival and work on the same theme. Experimentation and play are at the heart of the workshop and different art forms are covered. We work with two age groups (4-7 years and 8-12 years) and the languages spoken are Dutch, French and English. Pre-registration is required.

4-7 years old

Enter a fictional sensory snack bar where we blur the line between art and food as hungry artists, fiery chefs and curious eaters. We open ceremoniously by transforming a red cabbage into paint, and continue to experiment with colourful ingredients and flavours. Feel free to leave your finest shirt at home – or prepare to take it home as a souvenir in a new dish.

8-12 years old

Caméléon Bavard's workshops offer a space for creative expression open to the world. During this workshop around Haribo Kimchi, participants will use pencils, brushes, paper and scissors, and a head full of ideas, to create some curious animals. These animals take us on a journey into a little gastronomic world, full of flavours, smells and colours. Awakening the senses with artistic forms, stimulating creativity, experimenting and opening new horizons: this is at the heart of Caméléon Bavard's approach. They invite everyone to create a story by discovering unexpected and imaginary detours.

Accessibility: in every workshop, there will be a quiet corner where kids can decompress and relax.
