Three years later, the Frans Hals Museum showed his retrospective exhibition Primitive Data. Since 2015 Markus Selg works closely with theatre director Susanne Kennedy. For example Coming Society (2019) and Ultraworld (2020), both presented at Volksbühne Berlin. For Ultraworld Selg received the Faust Award 2020 for best stage design.
