Currently in his final year of a two-year artist residency at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, Hsu Che-Yu is a visual artist based in Taipei and Amsterdam. He has participated in the Theater der Welt in Frankfurt (2023), Bienal de São Paulo (2021), Seoul Mediacity Biennale (2021), VIDEONALE Festival in Bonn (2021), Shanghai Biennale (2018), London Design Biennale (2018), Asian Art Biennial in Taichung (2017), International Film Festival Rotterdam (2023, 2022, 2020, 2018), and New York Film Festival (2020). Hsu received the Videonale Award of the Fluentum Collection in 2021, the Loop Barcelona Video Art Production Award in 2020, and the Taishin Annual Grand Prize in 2016.
