Bart Seng Wen Long is an artist, filmmaker and occasional curator, working primarily with moving image and photographic mediums, while also dabbling in performance, expanded cinema and alternative curatorial processes. His practice revolves around confrontations between reality and fantasy, and how, in the heat of those encounters, they reveal the interconnectedness of things within the political economy of desire.
Seng Wen Long is currently a Kone Foundation grantee, and was a Tour de Moon grant awardee and nominee for the Circa x Dazed prize. His works have been exhibited in the Jim Thompson Art Center for Ghost:2568 (TH), CUTE at Somerset House (UK) and the Kunsthal Rotterdam (NL), Queer East Festival (UK), Singapore Intl Film Festival (SG), British Film Institute (UK), Bishopsgate Institute (UK), and the CIRCA x DAZED Prize 2021 (Screens of London, Seoul and Tokyo), amongst others.
