Kai Cheng Thom is een Canadese schrijfster. Olave Nduwanje is in Burundi geboren, Brussel wonende, zwarte, niet-binaire Trans* Femme (voornaamwoorden: zij/haar). Ze identificeert zich als een Queer Feminist Umurundikazi. Ze is activiste (anti-racisme, LGBTQI+ rechten, anti-kapitalisme, gehandicapten rechten, anti-ecocide, enz.), juriste en advocaat, en werd kandidaat-raadslid voor de Haagse Stadspartij bij de voorbije gemeenteraadsverkiezingen. Ze is een content creator, met name van haar Olave Talks, en een gepassioneerd schrijfster in verschillende genres. Ze is een gepubliceerd auteur en heeft literaire bijdragen geleverd aan de volgende titels: Zwart. Afro-Europese Literatuur uit de Lage Landen (2018), De Goede Immigrant (2020), en Being (Imposed Upon) (2020).
